SARAH GERONIMO


Sarah Geronimo was born on July 25, 1988 to Delfin and Divina Geronimo, who ran a beauty parlor in their house at Sta. Cruz, Manila. Geronimo is the third of four children with siblings Johna Rizzie, Sunshine Grace, and Ezekiel Gabriel.
Geronimo's first performance on stage is at a mall show when she was two years of age. Sarah sang "Pasko Na Naman" with Pinky Marquez and Richard Reynoso. She became part of a kiddie show, Pen-pen de Sarapen, from 1992 through 1994, Ang TV from 1995 through 1996, and NEXT from 1996 through 1997. She was one of the performers during the 1995 visit of Pope John Paul II.


Star For A Night hosted by Regine Velasquez is the singing contest where she won the joined grand prize on March 1, 2003, at the age of 14. Geronimo emerged as the grand prize winner of the competition with her rendition of the song "To Love You More". She won P1 million and a managerial contract at Viva Artist Agency. Geronimo or simply Sarah Geronimo is one of the hottest stars in the Philippines today. She is the winner of the Philippine reality show Star for a Night. She is known for being the Pop Star Princess of the Philippines.



At fourteen years old, she released her debut album Popstar: A Dream Come True. The debut album was awarded a sixtuple (6x) platinum award, selling over 180,000 copies. Aside from singing, she has also done supporting roles for movies like “Filipinas“, “Captain Barbell” , “Annie B, a very special love” and has starred in her own television soap opera entitled “Sarah, The Teen Princess” and “Bituing Walang Ningning“. She has also scored endorsement deals for Jollibee, Charmee and Talk and Text for Smart Telecommunications and Her Bench. Now she is the most popular singer and very talented artist.
